Bear Lake and Raspberry Days

In August I was able to find an RV spot in Bear Lake for Raspberry Days. It was fun to play in the Lake and we even were able to meet up with the Siebenhaars and let our kids play.

Aubrie loves going to her dance class each Monday and learning tumbling and Jazz.
I finally was gaining more energy back to play with the girls at the park! Both girls love the swings and laughing at each other.

Brynnley loves her cookies and treats!
Aubrie wanted to help me make pink cupcakes with pink frosting in princess cupcake wrappers for her birthday. She is a great helper!

hair growth

April 26th I got my hair re-colored by Amber. I was really nervous to see what color it would turn especially since our first experience coloring it with Chemo still in my hair!  I was a little shocked to see it so platinum blonde, but I actually like it a lot better with this style!

I also started having eyelash extensions put on at this time. At the beginning of the year, my eyelashes were slowly starting to grow back and by April, a lot of them had fallen out again! I absolutely love them now and it is so nice to speed up my getting ready time!
Before and Afters:
This is my hair in May after getting home from getting it colored...not my favorite style by Amber.

I have been able to get on a good routine of going to the gym at least 3-4 times a week. I had to start very slow at the beginning of the year with just short walks around the track and soon I was able to ride the recumbent bike and elliptical. I was amazed when I was actually able to run this Spring! I was exhausted afterwards, but it made me feels so good and like my old self again. In May I got the courage to try some water aerobics classes at the rec center. At first, I would be so tired after an hour workout but soon realized how much strength I was gaining every day. In June I decided to start taking a step aerobics class once a week and loved it! I had so much more energy when I would go to the gym, even after a long day at work!

July Fun

July was also a busy, but fun month for our family. We were able to attend Nitro Circus World Games at Rice Eccles stadium at the U and watch lots of athletes perform all kinds of stunts. We saw freestyle motocross, skateboard, scooters and inline skates.

We were kinda bummed because the original seats we got were really close but ended up being where a camera was, therefore we got moved to the nose bleed section!

We also attended a rodeo in West Jordan and watched fireworks too!
Jeff and I have had a lot of fun attending many country concerts this year at Usana. Earlier this year I purchased the Country Mega Ticket which includes tons of concerts this year including: Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, and Luke Bryan.
My hair is starting to finally get more length to it, but refuses to do anything but stick up and be curly, so I have learned to just go with it.
Florida Georgia Line Concert was one of the best I have been to!
We also took a trip in our trailer to Payson Lakes for Pioneer Weekend. We were joined by my parents and Shannon and Joe.
Aubrie loved swimming, even if it was in a freezing cold mountain lake.
Hanging out at camp!

Every morning we woke up there were a ton of cows right outside our trailer door, just hanging around at the camp site.

The girls love visiting Papa Matt at the fire station to get a fire girl hat.

Grandma Susie took the girls to play in the water on Fridays.

Grandpa P attended many car shows around the valley with his newly finished Cadillac.

This little girl decided she wanted to be a cowgirl and ride a lamb this year at Bluffdale Days. She was so excited to ride but was only able to hang on a few seconds before landing on her bottom. She got a trophy so it was all worth it!
