Here are some pictures from snowy Flagstaff....and our week of being snowed in.
After 3 huge storms in a week the grand total of snow was 5 ft so far....and still snowing. The ski resort got 90 inches so far. My classes at NAU were cancelled Thurs and Friday and we have been stuck inside since wednesday...so we are starting to go a little crazy being trapped inside.

Snow in the future?

So the last few days the news stations are putting warnings out and the big talk around the town is that we are supposed to get 5 feet of snow over the next week! I know this may not sound a ton compared to what we get in Utah, but in this town, its A LOT!! (especially since this town has NO clue how to properly remove snow). I am terrified to drive after it snows in Flagstaff because the roads are pure black ice and it takes them a whole week just to clean the roads after a little storm! So needless to say this week should be interesting. Last time it snowed like this they cancelled classes at NAU, so hopefully a break would be nice this early in the semester.

Here is a picture from the huge storm we had during finals week...its from our back porch:
This week I treat my own patient from the Health Center...I am super nervous, not because I am afraid, but mostly nervous because the teacher that is going to observe me is very intimidating :( So hopefully my patient won't show up. School is super busy already...its full of busy work and projects...we already have our first practical next week!

Also, Milly, who underwent surgery to get spayed last month is healed up great and back to her little troublemaker self. I also enjoyed taking her stitches out of her belly a few weeks ago.

Back to School

Tommorrow will be my last academic semester in PT school and I am super excited to almost be done! It seems like I have been in school forever and I am so ready to be finished and to start my career. This semester is supposed to be a lot of work so I am trying to motivate myself to keep up.

Jeff is doing well, he has started his job at the ski resort and is hoping that his construction job picks up this week. (He has sure learned how crappy it is to have to have a minimum wage job!)But I am greatful that he is willing to pick up another job while I am in school. Hopefully he will be able to take advantage of his free season pass once we get some decent snow here in Flagstaff.

Today we got our new primary class-the CTR 6's. We are hoping that our class of 7 will behave a little better than last year's class of 15 little roudy boys. We used to come home from church each week completely exausted and with migraines. Also, our ward changed meeting times to 9 AM which will be rough for us because that is our only day to sleep in now :(

First Blog/Christmas break

I finally decided to give in and join the blog world....
MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR

We had a wonderful christmas break in Utah and were very sad to have to come back to Arizona. We are already counting down the days til we move back to UT!! We went to Utah earlier than expected because Jeff's construction job was very slow and we had so much to do and people to see back home. We also decided to take both our cats with us since we were going to be gone so long-suprisingly they were great in the car. We spent the first week of our break at my grandparents house and the next week at Jeff's parents. During the second week we played with Jeff's brother's twin boys, saw the christmas lights at Thanksgiving Point, and had Christmas eve dinner with the Baths. Christmas day we woke up at 5AM at my parents and opened a few presents before my Dad had to work at the fire station.

We then went to my Aunt and Uncle's house to open the majority of our gifts along with grandparents and cousins. Our day continued as we went to see my Dad at the fire station and open more gifts, and finally we had dinner with my other grandparents and cousins. It was a packed few days but our trip still was busy. Shannon had her b-day on the 27th but we stayed in downtown SLC on the 28th and ate at the PIE! Our favorite pizza place downtown!

Jeff and I decided we wanted to go ice-skating since we had never been together, so we went to the utah Olympic Oval with my sister and had a blast!
For New Years eve my family decided to go snowmobiling at Daniels Summitt. It was a fun, cold, yet eventful time. That night Jeff and I hung out with his high school friends and watched the ball drop.

We had a super busy, but fun time in Utah. It was great to see family and friends again!
