Hawaii Day 4-6

Day 4-6 in Hawaii consisted of Dole Pinapple plantation tour and yummy ice cream, a trip to North Shore and of course Motsumoto shaved ice.

These pineapples were so tiny and cute.

We stopped by a beach where it is common for sea turtles to come up to the beach as well as eat the algea on the rocks in the water.

The famous Motsumoto's shaved ice with ice cream on the bottom and sweet and condensed milk on top.
 The hotel entrance.
We got upgraded to have a dodge charger to rent....Jeff was in heaven.

On the way home, we had to connect our flight in Oahu to Kona on the Big Island and what an adventure did that become!! We landed on Kona (basically a volcano) and after waiting on the plane for 3 hours on the tarmac, the pilot announced the plane needed to be repaired and the part needed to be flown over from Honolulu (one hour flight) and therefore we were stuck at the Kona airport outside with all the stores closed and in the heat for 5 hours. Unfortunatly we missed our connection flight from San Francisco to SLC and had to sleep at the airport until the next day. We didn't want to leave Hawaii, but were happy to finally be home in SL after that adventure.

Hawaii Day 1-3

Jeff and I took a vacation/late honeymoon/graduation present/babymoon to Hawaii for a week. It was fun to finally take a vacation with just the two of us (well 3 I guess).

Our first day we went to the Polynesian cultural center as well as made a visit to the La'ie Temple grounds.

 PCC canoe ride

We learned how to weave palm leaves into angel fish.
The next day we went snorkeling at Haunauma bay and saw tons of tropical and bright fish.
We also went to see the Blow hole and visit Sandy beach where all the locals boogie board. The waves were huge!

The next evening we attended Germaines Luau which was a little disapointing since it wasnt very authentic.

Jeffs 26th birthday

I forgot to post pictures from Jeff's 26th birthday we had at our house.

Baby Update

I still havent had a chance to get a good baby bump picture yet even though I am almost halfway through this pregnancy (19 weeks!!!) On the 11th of April I had my official u/s appointment and are happy to announce we are still having a little GIRL!!! The u/s showed she is growing healthy and strong and has all her organs and fingers/toes and a strong heartbeat. She also has the cutest facial profile and we can't wait to meet her. She is now the size of a hot dog bun. I finally have been able to consistantly feel her although it still feels like popcorn popping in my belly all day and night. She is already so spoiled as Jeff and I can't avoid buying cute things for her when we are out shopping. Jeff is so excited as well and I can't wait until he can feel her as well.

That same day, Jeff and I had the chance to be featured on RFH X-96's morning radio show as 'Best friend of the Program'. It was fun to actually see what DJ's do in the studio and to meet them.
