Cornbelly's Fun

Cornbelly's has become the tradition in our family each Fall. The girls get so excited and giddy when we mention that we are going to Cornbelly's in Lehi at Thanksgiving Point.
We spent 4 full days during October playing in the corn pit, finding our way around the corn maze and playing as a family.

Grandma Susie took the girls to a pumpkin patch since I didn't get a chance to take the girls this year.

Senses Fail Concert

For our anniversary, Jeff and I attended the Senses Fail concert at the Complex on October 9th. We had never been to this venue before but found it to be really awesome since you are so close to the stage and singers.
They were so awesome and fun to watch. This tour they played their entire 1st album for it's 10th anniversary. It's crazy to think that its been that long since we were at Snow College and listening to them.

That next week we also got to go to the Jazz game and sit in the 6th row, where normally the owner of Ivory Homes has season tickets.

Camping Adventure in October

We decided as a family to enjoy one more short vacation before having to winterize the trailer. The girls get so excited to take a vacation and especially camping and cheer with excitement.

The weather started to get quite cold the first week of October and we didn't want to drive too far so we decided to go up to Granite Flatts campground up American Fork Canyon.

We have never been camping this late in the year and were in for a little adventure. We pretty much wore snow clothes the entire time and had lots of hot cocoa. It was beautiful to be up in the mountains with the changing leaves despite the cold. We went down to the lake but the wind made it bitter cold and we didn't last long. At night it ended  up being only 11 degrees and of course our batteries for our trailer weren't working so we couldn't run the heater. Jeff drove down the canyon to buy some new ones so we didn't freeze. It was a little pricey trip! We discovered that the fridge and the radio were draining the battery.

The next day we met with my mom and dad who brought up the 4-wheelers so we could go on a ride that day. It was fun to ride around the pretty gold, red and green leaves and learn more about the ghost town in Mineral Basin of Forest City.
