Happy 1st Birthday Brynnley!

Little Miss Brynnley turned 1 year old on June 12, 2016! We were in Lake Powell on her actual birthday so she got to have a few parties.

At the end of May, I took Brynners to Camera shy to get her b-day pics taken, but of course she decided to cry the entire time so we did a re-take at home so we could actually get some pics with smiles in it :)
At 1 year old Brynnley:
-  weighs 16.5lbs (2%)
-  has learned to scoot around on her bum, but will not crawl
-  can stand supported
-  drinks real milk in a sippy cup
-  loves to eat and feed herself. Some of her favs are mandrin oranges, puffs, and pretzels
-  loves to be held
-  is still sleeping in her pack n play in our room ( part of it is me not wanting her to leave my room)
-  loves playing with her sister and having giggle fests, especially late at night
-  loves holding remotes and anything in her hands, especially paper
-  loves fuzzing her blankets
-  tries hard to catch and pet the cats Millie and Moki
-  is such a content baby and loves just hanging out (and hates being left alone)

Brynnley got to have another party that was combined with my birthday this year! I am grateful to share a b-day month with my sweet girl!
When it came time for her smash cake, she was the most cleanest baby I have seen. She first started picking off the sprinkles and eating them, then started to taste the icing and then once we showed her the confetti cake inside, she enjoyed eating that!

This picture describes most of our photo session: snotty nose with frosting all over

April Happenings and Celebrations!

At 10 months old, Brynnley:
- has started to stand with support, but needs a little encouragement
- is rolling very easy now and will stay on her tummy a little longer
- likes to feed herself pancakes and snacks but doesn't like her sippy cup
- got her first 2 teeth on the 24th of April
- had hand, foot and mouth, that she got from daycare in April
- started to clap at Shannon's graduation from Snow College
- loves splashing in the bathtub
- loves being with her big sister playing
- Doesn't like the feel of grass and will hold up her leg and even her head to avoid putting it in the grass
Grandma Susie took the girls to Thanksgiving Point's Children's museum where they had so much fun!
Aubrie loved seeing all the tulips and daffodils pop up in our backyard this Spring.

My Mom and I took the girls to Thanksgiving Point's Tulip Festival in April! It was chilly that day but one of the first sunny days we had in a long time.

Aubrie loves to help her baby sister in the bath!
First time eating bacon at Grandma Susie's house.
Aubrie started her first year playing T-ball with the Rec center. She was on the Giants Team! Her first game she hit farther than all the boys on the team and has a good throw!

She also likes to socialize while playing :)
Funny things Aubrie says:
- She always says: One time, at night time, when I was a little baby....
- She loves to ride the alligator (escalader) at the mall
- She loves being a helper when making pancakes and loves to count and help crack the eggs
- Loves to get toys for Brynnley when she is sad
- Can count well and recognizes letters
- Loves playing with her Disney princesses, barbies, playing playdough, riding her bike and reading books as well as loves putting on mom's makeup and wearing jewelry.
- Sings Mary had a little"man" instead of lamb and thinks she is soooo funny
- Loves swimming lessons (she calls it lessons every time we go to the rec center) and goes with Grandpa Matt a lot
- Loves playing with her princess figurines and collecting tusm tusms (zoom zooms) which are little Disney characters that stack on each other
- Loves going on bike rides around the neighborhood and to the park
- Has a great memory
- Has finally decided to be potty trained
- If asked what her dad's name is, she responds, "Jeffrey Warranty Department"

On April 30th, we drove down to Snow College to see Shannon graduate with her AS degree. It was fun to drive around town to see the changes they had made in Ephraim as well as the parts of the campus and apartments that haven't changed! It sure brought back happy memories of the days we had no responsibility!
