Disneyland 2014

 My little water baby enjoyed playing in the warm May weather before we left for California.

 We had a 3 day Disneyland pass and spent the first day at California Adventure.

 I wasn't sure how Aubrie would react to all the characters, but she LOVED seeing them. Her favorite was Minnie Mouse of course.

 Playing at Crystal Cove: Every time a wave would hit Aubrie's feet she would squeal so loud...she loved it and didn't want to leave.

This trip to Disneyland was quite the adventure. I spent the first 4 days with a stomach bug and spent lots of time in the Disneyland bathrooms, needless to say, I didn't ride many rides. On the day before we were leaving, we were driving to Disneyland and got rear-ended in our rental car. The car that hit us from behind hit us so hard we hit into the car in front of us. We were all a little shaken up and still have some back/neck pain. Despite all the craziness, the best part of Disneyland was seeing the excitement on Aubrie's face when she saw all the characters and princesses.

Tulip Festival and Mother's Day

 For Mother's Day weekend, I wanted to spend time as a family and enjoy the unusually warm weather at the Tulip Festival. I really tried hard to get at least one picture of Aubrie in the tulips, but I guess it was wishful thinking that a 20 month old would sit still.  Needless to say, she was a busy and grumpy one (later I found out she had 4 molars coming in at the time).

 Most of my pictures turned out like the one below:

 For Mother's Day, we decided it would be fun to have a 4 generational picture taken for the future. It was fun to spend time together as girls and have lunch.  For Mother's day this year I got new flip flops and a pedicure!

Visit to the Zoo and First Easter Egg Hunt

 We finally had one nice day in March without snow so we decided to visit the zoo.

 I can't believe how much Aubrie has grown in just 8 months!

 Aubrie's first Easter egg hunt was at my dad's fire station egg hunt in Sandy. She loved it and kept saying "more more more" and enjoyed opening each egg and stuffing her mouth full of chocolate.

Getaway weekend at Moab

 We have been needing a vacation to get warm and we decided to go for the weekend to Moab. This was Jeff and Aubrie's first time going there and it was definitely a fun time. We stayed in the cabins at the KOA and spent Saturday at Arches.

 Balanced Rock

 I think she is getting a little too big for this backpack...hehehe

 We hiked up to the "Windows" which was really neat and pretty.

 Of course Aubrie had to walk since she thinks she is so big.

 This was the closest we came to Delicate Arch which was fine with us.

 Aubrie's favorite hike was to the Sand Dune Arch. Underneath this arch is a huge sand hill that kids were climbing up and sliding/rolling down.
