Aubrie is 6 months old!

 Little Miss Aubrie is not so little anymore and has reached 6 months old! I thought it would be fun to see how much she has changed over these last 6 months that have flown by.

Aubrie's 6 month stats: 
- Weight: 16.4 lbs    49%
-Length: 24.7 in       9%
-Head circumfrence: 16.1 cm   8%

At 6 months Aubrie:
* No longer has any curls left in her hair, but her hair is super long on top and short in the back so the only hair style that is decent is pig-tails or what I call "baby sumo" ponytail on top of her head.
*Is able to sit up unsupported for about 5 min prior to getting tired
*Still doesn't like to be on her tummy more than 10 min
*Can roll front to back and back to front by herself
*Loves Loves Loves our cats and gets so excited when she sees them and will giggle when she tries to pull their tails
* Still loves Micky Mouse Clubhouse and now a new show called Bubble Guppies
*Loves reading books and helping turn the pasges
*Started to growl at everything, especially when she is tired or mad
*She still doesn't like fruit but will stomach pears. She also eats: sweet potatoes (home made), peas, loves carrots, squash, rice cereal.
*Gets really hyper and excited when she gets to lay on our bed to play
*Loves her bouncer toy and can actually reach all the toys now that she is bigger
*Is sleeping better (when she is not sick) and only wakes 1-2x/night
*Had her 6th ear infection this month since Dec and will be having tubes placed soon :(
*Gets excited when we pick her up from daycare and also when we come home from work she will give us the biggest grin. :)

5 months old and Happy Valentines Day

 Happy Valentines Day 2013!!!

 This little missy is 5 months old already and getting quite the personality!

 Aubrie's favorite time of the day...bath time. She loves splashing us with her feet and playing with her rubber ducky friend in the bubbles.

Crazy morning hair :)

At 5 months, Aubrie:
*Had another double ear infection last month along with bronchiolitis (which was the most terrible cough I have ever heard)
*Has now tried pears, squash, sweet potatoes, and rice cereal. Squash is still her favorite so far.
*On January 28th was the first time she full-out giggled when mommy was tickling her.
*On January 29th she was finally able to roll over from her back to tummy, but still has a little trouble getting over her shoulder.
*She loves pulling mommy's hair as well as putting everything she gets her hands on in her mouth.
*Is still not sleeping through the night and wakes up one to five times a night depending on how she is feeling.
*When we are out visiting people, she always looks around to make sure mommy or daddy are close by.
*Loves chasing the kitties at home and trying to "pet" them before they take off running for cover.
*Is super wiggley now and can't be left alone in her swing or bouncy chair since she has figured out how to scoot out or try and turn over in them.
*Loves when we sing to her, especially if it is the songs from Micky Mouse Clubhouse (hot dog song).

 Where has the time gone and where is my little newborn??? Aubrie is growing up so quickly and developing a cute personality. She is still such a happy baby and loves her mommy and daddy and always gives us a huge smile when we pick her up from daycare or come home from work. She has finally got over all her illnesses and is back to our happy girl.

The week after Christmas, I took her to the pediatrition because I wasn’t producing enough milk anymore to satisfy her and found out she wasn’t gaining enough weight. We started supplementing with formula and she was given the ok to start eating rice cereal and baby foods. So far she likes her rice cereal mixed with apple juice or bananas and she loves squash. It is so cute to see her sitting in her high chair like a big girl and eating.

4 Month Stats:
   Weight: 14.88 lbs   69%
    Length: 24.0    29%
    Head circumference: 15.4 in  3%

At 4 months Aubrie:

-          Loves to coo and talk and will also blow bubbles only around mom and dad

-          She is almost able to roll all the way over onto her right side

-          She loves to try and stand up while we hold her and look around at the world

-          Is still not quite sleeping through the night and still wakes up 1-2 times a night (on good days).

-          Reaches for her toys now and everything she touches goes straight to her mouth

-          She loves her rattles and sitting in her bouncer chair

-          Is able to sit up in her high chair to eat squash, bananas and rice cereal.

-          Her hair is getting so long and its getting harder to keep it curly

 She is passed out...probably from her food coma...this girl loves food.

Christmas Day 2012

 Christmas morning we went to the Evans to celebrate with all the family and enjoy the yummy food. Aubrie definitely got spoiled this year by everyone and got lots of toys including: rocking horse, dolls, rattles, bumbo chair, books and lots of other fun things. Then we went to Grandma Evans for dinner with the cousins.

Tis the Season

 To start off the Holiday season, we  visited Santa at the mall in order to get my Mom’s favorite picture of the kids with Santa. Luckily Aubrie stayed awake to sit on his lap and didn’t cry this year….probably the last time for a while.

  

Christmas Eve was spent at the Baths for dinner and our annual reading of the new Christmas book for the year. She was loved by everyone there.

 The next weekend, the Bath’s had their family party at their wardhouse with a special visit from Santa. Aubrie got to be the star of the Nativity play as her role of Baby Jesus.

 Our first annual Gingerbread house building night (ours is the lovely one with orange frosting since it was a "home depot" house.

 Aubrie's first christmas tree in her room was filled with little glass mice eating cookies which was on my tree growing up. These were special to me because each year I got one new piece.

 Aubrie’s first Christmas was a busy one filled with family, fun, and of course lots of presents for this little girl! We started off the Christmas season by going downtown to Temple Square to see the lights and the candy windows that were brought back this year. As a little girl, I always remember how cool the candy windows at ZCMI were and although this years were still neat, I think they used to be better. 

 Aubrie is finally able to stand and play in her new toy...she is still trying to figure it out...but it worked as a great babysitter while I wrapped presents.

 This was the last week she was able to sleep in our room in her bassinet since she was getting too big.

Poor little baby

Poor little Aubrie has been sick all week with a cold (she just got over one) and a nasty cough that wasn't getting better so I took her into kidscare on Sunday and good thing I did. She has an ear infection, cold, and yeast infection! Nothing is worse than seeing your little munchkin sick and not being able to help her or give her any medicine. I sure hope she starts feeling better so she (and mom and dad) can  get some sleep.She  just wants to be help constantly making getting things done around the house pretty difficult. Here's to getting better before Christmas next week cause this little one is getting spoiled.
